1,000,000 Wiis sold in the first two weeks

According to this source , a million units of Nintendo's Wii console were sold in the first two weeks on the market, however, a number of 1,100,000 is already circulating as the latest number

Wii's 80.000-units-sold-per-day rate of success is not showing signs of waning. It's not a matter of whether it's a success or not anymore, but whether it will turn into a global phenomenon. In USA alone, over 600,000 units were sold, according to USA today. In Japan, 400,000 units were shipped, and, guess what? They're already sold out.

On a side note, if you really have to know exactly how many units of Xbox, PS3, and Nintendo were sold so far, check out this site. You can even pick your favorite and cheer for it.
